Our processes ensure we take an environmentally responsible approach to delivering large format digital print together with the services we provide and the processes we operate. By their very nature, large format printing uses large volumes and sometimes generates large volumes of media waste.
We were one of the first digital print production companies to gain the ISO14001 Environmental Certification and we have introduced innovative methods of recycling used, waste and unused materials.
Today, sustainability is part of how we work and is increasingly critical to the future of digital printing.
Recognising our commitments in this area, we have been awarded the new 2015 ISO9001 and ISO14001 accreditations to improve our environmental impact.
Our path to sustainable business development is a shared endeavor, touching all levels of our organisation. Our successes come from individual employees, from improvements throughout our offices, from our methods of production, from our clients, from our dealers, from our suppliers and from our partners.
Imaginators know the best way for us to reduce our impact upon the environment is to improve our products, our technology and our systems. We’ve updated nearly all our digital printing equipment in recent years, ensuring the use of more environmentally friendly ink systems and processes.
Many of our production processes now use friendlier inks such as Latex, UV and water based inks, which are certified to the Nordic Swan Environmental Standard. We’ve also significantly reduced the amount of waste generated during our manufacturing processes.
We are constantly exploring new material options with our suppliers and partners. We carefully control our waste streams, avoiding unnecessary wastage and recycle as much material as possible.
Imaginators are committed to reducing waste across all our business operations and supply chain and have identified which waste streams can be responsibly disposed, recycled or re-purposed as appropriate.
We’ve also significantly reduced our carbon footprint by introducing energy-efficient technology such as intelligent LED lighting systems throughout our offices and by improving our air conditioning, heating and insulation systems within them.
