EE at Glastonbury

With a complex, ever evolving client brief, Imaginators were tasked by EE and their global advertising agency to deliver ‘4GEE Charging Bull’.

An exclusive area within the famous Glastonbury Music Festival site which attracted customers of EE and VIP guests to relax, unwind and charge their mobile phones whilst enjoying drinks, DJs and the EE branded surroundings.

All interior and exterior areas were overlayed with wide and superwide format digital print.

Often challenged by client changes, Imaginators reacted effortlessly to an evolving brief to ensure new ideas were implemented quickly. This was made possible by a dedicated production team and talented in-house installers working tirelessly on-site to create a consistent set of complex graphics produced across a variety of large format digital print technologies and substrates.

Imaginators worked to tight client deadlines to deliver an unforgettable experience to 175,000 festival goers.

In total, over 400 differing items of large, wide and superwide format digital print were produced including exterior banners to wrap the structure, roof panels, interior banners, wall graphics, interior decor, way finding signage, 3D signage, wallpaper graphics, posters, retail displays, floor graphics, vinyl graphics and soft signage including furnishings.

The project was completed by our in-house team of qualified installers to ensure attention to detail.

After weeks of print production, a team of 5 arrived onsite at Glastonbury to project manage and install all printed items over 5 long days and nights which included wrapping large structures with giant digitally printed images, cladding walls with huge textile prints and applying vinyl to a variety of surfaces.

Not a simple task given the famous mud of Glastonbury.
