20 Jul Wildflowers – Giant Wall Mural
High up on the rooftops at The Yards, above the hustle and bustle of Covent Garden, London, is another city that’s buzzing with life – a collection of beehives.
During the summer lockdown, The Yards sought to raise awareness of the importance of protecting these hard-working pollinators. To help raise awareness a giant wall mural was commissioned.
The Yards is a luxury shopping, dining and wellness destination located in the heart of Covent Garden and Imaginators were tasked with production and installation of the giant wall mural.
The mural was digitally printed to a specialist highly conformable vinyl specifically tailored to adhere to the rough brick surface of the centrally located H&M building. Printed using UV inks the vinyl, which included a thin over laminate to provide additional protection, was installed in sections to bring this giant mural to life.
High access installation was completed by our team using a unique method of pre-heating the surface whilst applying the highly conformable vinyl. The spectacular finished mural gives the illusion of a hand painted mural.
