Our robotic flatbed cutter brings technology advances to the busy print production department of Imaginators. The cutting edge robotic flatbed cutter is perfect for a variety of finishing methods – simple or complex. Increased capacity shall enable Imaginators to be more reactive to the demands of clients and open up new markets.

The investment strengthens Imaginators position as London’s leading provider of large format digital printing and event branding to the retail, exhibition, sport, live event, music and entertainment markets. This new installation is driven by an ESKO Workflow of Pre-Flight and Imposition software from our pre-press studio.

Imaginators will use the ultra-high speed flatbed cutter which uses a high powered 3kw router to further their production capacity for other market sectors within which they operate including retail, sport, exhibition and construction.

The ESKO Kongsberg flatbed cutter enables fast, accurate finishing of a variety of large format digital substrates include roll to roll and rigid materials which are printing upon our industrial HP Scitex and Durst presses.

The addition of this new technology brings the advantage of being able to finish the widest range of materials in-house. Our versatile flatbed cutters are automated cad cutters for CNC routing, knife cutting, creasing, V groove cutting & folding. The wide range of specialty tools offers speed, power and flexibility to automatically handle a wide variety of materials, such as corrugated, folding carton, solid board, foam, acrylic, di-bond, wood and a long list of plastics.
