Imaginators win Best Wide Format & Superwide Format Print Award

Imaginators won both best wide format and superwide format digital printer 2016 at the recent Digital Printer Awards.

Held at the prestigious Grosvenor Square Marriott Hotel in Mayfair, London, Imaginators were honoured to win for EE at Glastonbury Music Festival 2016 which included project management, print production across five differing technologies including UV and latex printing to almost twenty differing print substrates to provide in excess of x400 different digitally printed items which were installed by our own team of installers at Glastonbury for the week leading up to the start of this global iconic music festival.

Both large, wide and superwide format digitally printed inkjet graphics included big and bold giant mesh banners, complex dibond shapes, soft textile signage and way-finding signage through to small and sneaky VIP details, merchandising display graphics and POS display graphics.

Imaginators used HP Scitex, Durst and ESKO Kongsberg technologies to deliver this challenging project.

Former professional footballer Matt Le Tissier and EFI Regional Sales Manager, Nordics, UK & Ireland Clare Revell present the award for Best Wide Format and Superwide Format Digital Printer 2016 to Imaginators Production Director Matt Tydeman.

The panel of judges said ‘The scale and complexity of this project made this entry stand out. Impressive project management ensured its successful delivery’. Quite exceptional work.

Our production team including our Production Director Matt Tydeman collected the award.

As a long standing provider to Glastonbury, in addition to the award winning work for EE at Glastonbury, Imaginators also produced stage branding for the Glastonbury ‘Pyramid Stage’ and the famous ‘Other Stage’ which included stage backdrops, stage headers, PA scrims and truss infills.
