29 May Imaginators #PinYourThanks
During the COVID-19 lockdown came a heart warming request for Imaginators support in the form of branding the #PinYourThanks tour of a life-size model across London which culminated with an appearance on the BBC One Show.
Our client intended to highlight the good cause and handwork of a volunteering group in London who wanted to find a way to thank volunteers who had gone beyond the call of duty in helping others during the pandemic.
The idea quickly grew into a nationwide initiative when he realised everyone in the UK should have the opportunity to say a personal, heartfelt and lasting thank you to all the volunteers, carers, NHS workers, key workers, teachers, sons/daughters, aunties/uncles, friends, neighbours and others across the country who have been selflessly supportive during the pandemic.
It’s an opportunity to say thanks to remarkable individuals, and to mark that appreciation with a stunning pin badge designed by artists, celebrities and general all-round ‘good eggs’. Each hero will receive a heartfelt token of appreciation – ‘The People’s Medal’ as we like to call it – while charities will receive much-needed funds. Artists and celebrities included Keira Knightly, Ringo Starr, Joe Lycett, David James MBE, Anoushka Shankar, Emeli Sande and many more.
All profits went to supporting NHS Charities Together and Volunteering Matters.
Those people pinning their thanks by purchasing a pin get a warm, fuzzy feeling inside. The entire Imaginators team also got a warm, fuzzy feeling inside as we witnessed our branding and hard work highlight this incredible cause.
We’ve all got out pins – have you got yours?
